FAQ’s, Help & Support

Everything You Need to Know

We’re Here to Help

Our goal is to give you the best possible printing experience. We want repeat business, a solid rapport, and to get to know your brand. Below you’ll find answers to the questions we’re asked most often.

Ordering & Delivery

Your prices are cheaper than other printers — are you cutting quality?

Not at all. We rely on volume and bulk “ganged up” printing for efficiency and economies of scale. Those savings are passed on to you — without cutting quality.

When will my print arrive?

Lead times range from 2–7 days depending on product, quantity, and finish. Need it in a rush? Call us and we’ll do our best to expedite.

Important: delivery times start from when your artwork is approved until despatch. Delays in artwork sign-off will delay delivery. Next-day courier services may not be guaranteed during peak/seasonal periods.

How do I place an order?
  1. Search online for the product you need.
  2. Choose print specifications and lead time.
  3. Make payment.
  4. Upload artwork or submit your design brief.
  5. View, proof, and approve your artwork.
  6. Await delivery.
Turnaround time explained

We indicate approximate times to design, print, finish, pack, and ship. Turnarounds vary by product and can range from 2–10 days. Some items can be accelerated for a small surcharge; others cannot be sped up.

Note: all timings are calculated from the moment your print-ready artwork is approved. Orders approved after 12:00pm roll to the next business day.

Can I speak to someone / visit in person?

Yes. Call us or drop in. We’re at 275 Glasnevin Avenue, Dublin 11. Customer parking is available for collections.

Design & Proofs

I don’t have a design — can you help?

Absolutely. Our in-house designers cover all disciplines and are available by phone, email, or in-store. We’ll guide you from brief to final artwork.

What if I don’t like the design?

A clear brief helps us hit the mark. Tell us required colours, fonts, and examples you like. Our standard service includes an initial proof plus two revision rounds. Extra changes can be added if needed, and we’ll always confirm any cost in advance.

I’m a graphic designer — can you print my artwork?

Of course. We work with designers daily. Send your files and we’ll check them. Please see our Artwork Guidelines before submitting.

Can I get a hardcopy proof?

Yes. A small surcharge applies. We recommend a hard proof if colour accuracy is critical.

I’ve placed my order and spotted a mistake — what now?

Contact us immediately. If your job hasn’t been processed, we’ll pause it and there’s no charge to swap files. If it’s already in production, fees may apply.

Files & Artwork

Preferred file formats

Best: Adobe Acrobat PDF (press-optimised) with bleed, crop marks, and embedded fonts.

  • InDesign/Quark: “Package/Collect for Output” with all links & fonts.
  • Illustrator: save as EPS or AI, fonts outlined, bleed & crops.
  • Photoshop: 300dpi CMYK TIF (LZW off) or highest-quality JPG with bleed & crops.
  • Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint: convert to PDF where possible.
Bleed, margins, and images
  • Bleed: add 3mm on all edges where artwork runs off the page.
  • Safe area: keep text at least 5mm from the trim edge.
  • Photos: supply at 300dpi CMYK.
Supplying files for booklets

Provide single-page PDFs in sequence (1, 2, 3, …), not spreads. We’ll impose correctly for print.

My file is too big to email

Use a transfer service such as WeTransfer, MailBigFile, or Dropbox. Include your order number in the message.

Full specs: see our Artwork Guidelines.

Print-Ready = Faster Turnaround

Approvals before 12:00pm count as same-day for production timelines. Approvals after 12:00pm roll to the next business day.

Colour & Print

Will my print colours match what I see on screen?

Screens display light (RGB/additive). Paper is ink on substrate (CMYK/subtractive). Variations are normal. We calibrate our presses for the best achievable match. If colour is critical, request a hardcopy proof.

Can you match the colours from my last job?

We use modern prepress and production controls to reproduce colour as closely as possible. Minor variation can occur; many customers find the latest prints look even better.

Do you print small one-off jobs?

Yes. Get in touch and we’ll advise the most cost-effective route.
